Replacement of German umlauts with their Tex entities works only SOMETIMES
Hello folks,
I've just found a strange behaviour in Zotero's BibTex export tool when exporting items containing German umlauts (ä, ö, ü) using non-utf8-encodings (in particular ISO-8859-1 and ISO-8859-15):
some umlauts are correctly converted to e.g. \"{u} (which gives ü after running pdflatex & bibtex), others are replaced by e.g. u? (which will stay like that).
Zotero 2.1.10, Firefox 6.0.2 on both Ubuntu and Win7 computers.
Any ideas?
Best regards,
Stefan

switching to precomposed characters (simply re-entering them) solved all issues.
