Style Request: The Oncologist
I need to change my bibliography for a submission to The Oncologist.
Has anyone done that before?
How should I do that?
Here you can an article with a bibliography the way mine should be (number 16 and 19 are internet pages):
http://theoncologist.alphamedpress.org/content/early/2011/08/31/theoncologist.2011-0105.long
It is a variation of the Vancouver style.
The footnotes in the text look like this example:
[3]
In the Bibliography the references look like this:
3 [the first 3 authors, last name and first letter of first name, divided by commas] et al. [title]. [journal name] [year];[volume number]:[first page number]-[last page number].
Example:
3 Soverini S, Mertinelli G, Iacobucci I et al. Imatinib mesylate for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia. Expert Rev Anticancer Ther 2008;8:853-864.
If the journal name is The Oncologist, it will be written in italic and bold. If it is NOT The Oncologist it is neither written in bold nor in italic.
Internet references:
4 [title of the guidelines or procedure or...], version [date or year of the version]. Available at [internet page], accessed [Month] [day in number], [year of accession].
Example:
4 National Cancer Institute. Sleep Disorders (PDQ). Management. Available at http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/supportivecare/sleepdisorders/HealthProfessional/page4#Section_74, accessed August 10, 2011.
Thank you very much for your help!

Thank you for your help.
The title to the Bibliography is REFERENCES (in The Lancet it is Bibliography).
Thank you.
I will check it out as soon as it shows up.
Unfortunately it doesn't work, it says there is an error:
COMMAND: app(u'/Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Microsoft Word.app/').make (new=k.Word_style, with_properties=k.style_type: k.style_type_paragraph, k.base_style: k.style_normal, k.name_local: 'Bibliography'}, at=(u'/Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Microsoft Word.app/').active_document)
What does that mean?
Thank you for your help.
If you still have problems, please describe your exact software set-up (system, word processor, Zotero version, plugin version).
