Slow tags input by default

I use Zotero standalone 3.0b2.1 with Ubuntu 11.04 on a netbook. After inserting a tag, the software works for few seconds before giving me the possibility to insert another tag; this problem disappear if I hide the tag selector. Anyway, if I quit the software and load it again, the tag input gets slow again even if the tags selector is still hidden. I have to show it and to hide it again to fix the problem. It seems that Zotero regenerates the tags list even if the tags selector is not shown unless it is hidden during the current session. Am I wrong?

    I can confirm that behaviour. When the tag selector is called and hidden again, it does get better although it is still slow.
    This behaviour is new since upgrading to 3 beta.
