Error 1991832148 (Sync, Standalone 3.0b2, Ubuntu)

Hi,

I'm getting the following error when syncing. I have added something to the library on another computer. Ubuntu Standalone 3.0b2.

[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80630003 (NS_ERROR_STORAGE_CONSTRAINT) [mozIStorageStatement.execute]" nsresult: "0x80630003 (NS_ERROR_STORAGE_CONSTRAINT)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/db.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 140" data: no] [QUERY: INSERT INTO relations (libraryID, subject, predicate, object, clientDateModified) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?, ?)] [ERROR: columns subject, predicate, object are not unique]
  • Can you provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt that produces this error?
  • Hi,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I couldn't upload directly from within Zotero ("Invalid server response"). But I have uploaded the log to
    http://ubuntuone.com/5uX8ma9yV4Fwpv4CZRzzUv
    (15,2 MB, though).

Maybe, I should add that during the sync process I always have to resolve some changes - and they do not seem to be saved, I have to resolve them again the next time.

    Thanks for looking into this!
  • Thanks. I've saved the file, so you can remove it.

    That's expected behavior: http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/repeated_conflicts
  • This is likely fixed in the latest trunk XPI. Despite the warnings on that page, it should be fairly safe at the moment. If you want to try it, make a backup of your Zotero data directory for good measure, and then install that over your existing version and try to sync. After you've tried, switch back to the release version.
  • Yes, that did it!
    Thank you so much!
