Preferences taller than screen on netbook display

Several of the panels in Preferences (General, Search, Export, Styles, Advanced) extend below the screen on my netbook (Ubuntu, 1024x600 display), and the window can't be moved upward to reach the masked area.

Is it possible to make the Preferences area scroll when it runs up against the vertical screen size constraint?
  • This should be dealt with somehow, but just fyi on Ubuntu there are binds for move-window when the titlebar isn't visible. In Gnome on 11.04 it looks like the default is alt-f7 and compiz (I think by default) binds alt-mouse1 for grabbing a window anywhere and moving it.
  • Aha! Both methods work here. Thanks very much, that's all I needed.
