Inserting citations

Hello. I posted this problem in the Import / Export section yet thought I would post it here too maybe I get an answer from someone who encountered the same problem. I cannot see to insert my notes as citations neither in Open.Office Writer nor in Word. Whenever I attempt to insert one of my notes, the word processor registers a partial transfer of my note's content. For example, for a note with 5 lines I'd only get the first line transferred! Can somebody help with that please?
