Upgrade Storage'Unfiled items' view slow to update

The unfiled items view is sometimes slow to update, which might lead to confusion.
1. When dragging an item from this view to a collection, it does not immediately disappear from 'unfiled items'. (It is debatable whether this is good or bad. I don't like it, but I understand why some might prefer this).
2. When using "Retrieve PDF metadata" on a PDF in the unfiled items view, the new item that is created does not immediately show up, making it difficult to find it later and verify that the details are correct (sometimes this features gives details from the wrong paper).
