Citation Error
I'm running OSX 10.6.8/Firefox 6.0/Zotero 2.1.8/MACWORD Integration 3.16/OPENOFFICE Integration 3.5b1/PythonExt 110710
I have discovered a problem in a particular instance of creating citations that exists with both Word and OpenOffice.
I have a number of references such as:
If I add a citation (Smith 2011) then a multiple citation (Smith 2011a, Smith 2011b, Smith 2011c), I will get the following:
text.....(Smith(2011)....text....(Smith 2011a, Smith 2011b, Smith 2011c)
but I should be getting:
text.....(Smith 2011a)....text....(Smith 2011a, Smith 2011b, Smith 2011c)
The initial (Smith 2011) is not being updated/corrected to (Smith 2011a)
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

mapmakerUPDATE: I have discovered this is a problem with my modification of the Chicago style. I guess it's my problem and not a general one.
-
adamsmithyou may have to explicitly code a "year-suffix" somewhere. See e.g. in the APA style L. 233 (and some others).
-
fbennett@mapmaker: have you validated the style?

mapmakerfound the problem - fixed Thanks!
