omitting DOI

When Zotero created bibliography in Word, it adds DOI automatically. I don't want to add DOI but don't want to delete this item manfully from records either.
My preferred citation system is: APA 6
Any suggestions?

    The DOI is required very explicitly by APA6 - the style guide makes quite a big deal about this.
    If you don't want the DOI, use a different style, e.g. APA 5 (on the repository), which is very similar but doesn't add DOIs for all items.
