Retrieving style information from document

I am not an expert user of zotero and facing the following problem:
I want to use a style that I have worked with earlier. I have the document that uses the style but the style is not installed on my computer. I thought it would get synced along with my other data, but found that is not the case. I'm wondering if I can retrieve the information from the document somehow.

Word processor: Microsoft word 2007

    You should be able to change the style by clicking the Set Document Preferences button in the toolbar, and the document should work. What information are you trying to retrieve?

    Thank you, but I don't want to change the style of that document. I want to know which style I used in it to be able to use it in other documents. I chose the style because of its properties but forgot the name.

    If you paste some citations - both in text and bibliography - here I might be able to tell you. I don't know if/where it's stored in the document, though, sorry.

    Thank you for the offer. I think I found it, though. I installed some similar styles from the repository and if I open the preferences for the document now it tells me it's one of them (Oryx). I had hoped there was an easier way, but maybe it's coming in a future release. In the meantime I will remember to note the styles I'm using.

    It seems to me that Zotero should be able to fetch the style if it's missing-- especially for styles in the Zotero style repository.

    Yes, that solution has been suggested in several threads already that I've found by searching for "style sync". Therefore I thought that it would be possible to identify the style of a document.
