SSRN & HeinOnline?

Both of these are supposed to be supported, but I've never gotten anything but "Could Not Save Item" with either.

Am I just doing something wrong?

    Eudinaesis, are you sure you're logged in to SSRN? The translator only works if you're logged in.

    The SSRN translator is clunky in that it only works if the user is logged in - but the SSRN site doesn't make it obvious that any login will be required. Is it possible for the translator to pop up a messsage such as: "Please login to SSRN first" rather than fail with a generic translation error?
    (Devs: more generally, is there any way for translators to present notifications? Specific error codes could be really useful!)
