Multiple authors rather than et al
I am trying to use Chicago Manual of Style (note without bibliography) for endnotes and I cannot seem to get Zotero to put more than one author-- it gives the et al. Hence I am forced to enter all the authors by hand. Because the footnote is, in essence, the bibliography, the et al here doesn't make much sense. Any help?
Thank you, GM.
Thank you, GM.
I don't have time to check, but I'm pretty sure CMoS does want et-al even if you don't have a bibliography. If you find specific instructions to the contrary, I'm happy to adjust the style on the repository.
If not, you can just edit the style yourself by removing whatever refers to "et-al"
http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step
it will either be two lines starting with
<option name et-al-min...
and
<option name et al use-first
(csl 0.8.1.)
or it will be two attributes in the
<citation .....> line "et-al-min=..." and "et-al-use-first="...."
(csl 1.0)
in either case, delete those and leave everything else as is.
