ProQuest Washington Times article: not properly scraped

I am using ProQuest through an ezproxy provided by our library. If you have access to ProQuest, you should be able to reproduce the following problem. Try to locate the article "Hill fries free to be French again ; GOP in House mum about it" from 2 August 2006. Then save to Zotero. The line identifying the article by ProQuest is

Christina Bellantoni, THE WASHINGTON TIMES. Washington Times. Washington, D.C.: Aug 2, 2006. p. A.01

Zotero interprets this as saying that "Christina Bellantoni" is the author's last name, and "THE WASHINGTON TIMES" is the author's first name. It also does not properly recognize the date of 2 August 2006. Here's what the Wikipedia export gives:

{{Cite news
| issn = 07328494
| pages = A.01
| last = Christina Bellantoni
| first = THE WASHINGTON TIMES
| title = Hill fries free to be French again ; GOP in House mum about it
| work = Washington Times
| accessdate = 2008-01-07
| date = 2006
| url = http://proquest.umi.com.ezproxy.metrostate.edu/pqdweb?did=1087687271&Fmt=7&clientId=44275&RQT=309&VName=PQD
}}

Thanks,
Axel
