Upgrade StorageProblems Importing from Proquest

I have attempted the fix described by ajlyon and restarted Firefox. When I went back to the proquest page

the problem had not changed. There is only a blue icon which saves web page information but not the usual import data button. I cannot get data from Proquest.
Also, I don't understand the problem - what type of icon do you see where? Disregard anything upthread - there is no need to apply any manual fixes.
If what I gave above is not a permalink or searchpath then I don't know what you need.
I searched through Victoria University under "linguistics" for the name "McLaughlin", and Proquest appeared. In Proquest I used to get a yellow icon on the address bar, and if I clicked it there was a list of all the references on the page. I could then choose what I wanted and the whole reference would be inserted into Zotero. Now the Proquest format has changed (it used to look very basic) and since then there is no yellow Zetero icon.
There is a rectangular blue icon in its place which says "Save to Zotero (embedded metadata)" which gives me no list of references and doesn't save information about them, only about the whole page. It is as if Zotero no longer notices that there are references on that page. so I have to add everything from Proquest manually.
