Site Translators completely broken
The site translator has suddenly stopped working for me. I do not see the newspaper icon at all on NY Times (www.nytimes.com). The book icon does not appear when browsing Amazon and it does not appear when searching through Library of Congress catalog (http://catalog.loc.gov/webvoy.htm) or the Columbia University library catalog (http://library.columbia.edu/). It has also stopped working on JSTOR and on all other databases that I use. I have tried the translator troubleshooter to no avail. I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it. All to no avail. The problem is that it was working fine till about 700 AM eastern time today. Its 740 now and I can't get the translator to work on any site that I regularly use for research.

markedited July 19, 2011Find out what happened around 700 AM today. Check what version of Zotero you use and update if needed. Disable all Firefox extensions other than Zotero. Restart your system. This must be a local problem for you because for all of us (for me at least) nothing has changed.
