Communication within the Group

Is there a feature that allows you to post message/announcements to all the members of your group? If so, I cannot find it. If not, why is there no such feature? Thanks

    I was going to ask the same question. Maybe someone has responded to this question already. In any event I will search the discussion board and if I find a response, I will let everyone know.

    Also, I think there is an option in the user settings for being notified when a new message is posted to the group site.
