Export Bibliography sorted by subcollections
Hi,
I'm looking for some hints on how to export or generate
an ordered bibliography from a collection and its subcollections.
The tricky thing that i'm trying to find out is if there is a
possibility of the export being sorted by subcollections without
doing a separate export for every single subcategory.
Thanks for your help and have a great weekend,
Dennis

thanks for the quick reply. That's
a pitty. Can you think of any workarounds?
Simply exporting the name of the subcollection that a paper
is in might be such an idea if possible. Or automated tagging
with the subcollection's name and then including
tags in the export.

The name of a subcollection can not be easily exported to a bibliography, nor can tags.
I read your wish and first moment I thought that the solution already exists. I am developing the zotero autoexport addon and by suggestion I added some months ago the option to split by collection. Nowadays I checked the code and is not a problem to implement subcollections also. However I need your help to understand what you need:
- option to export only the deepest collections
- option to skip empty subcollections
- option to setup maximum deepness because you might nest very deep
- option for name convention or the name of subcollection
If you contact me here or via my homepage I can send you a prerelease for testing!
Thanks for your help
