IEEE-style citation does not allow creating a bibliography?

Hi Everyone,

is there maybe someone who can explain me why I cannot use the IEEE citation style if I want also a bibliography in my document? I have a word 2002 version and I am still quite unexperienced with zotero. At least, when I insert a citation in the ieee-style and then say 'insert bibliography' I get an error saying that this citation style does not define a bibliography and if I wanted one, I should select another style. However, I have seen plenty of questions in the forum concerning the above mentioned style and the library - so where do I go wrong? What I basically want are square brackets with numbers in them referring to a paper - is there another option/style to obtain this?
Thanks a lot for your help already!
  • Looks like you're doing everything right.
First, try re-installing the style from the Zotero style repository, sounds like your local copy may be corrupted.
  • I updated my whole zotero version and reinstalled the plugin in word - now it works! Thanks a lot! (simple but saved me a lot of nerves)
