Tags "Add" button closes tag entry field

When I enter a new tag, it seems weird that hitting "add" closes the tag entry field, meaning that to enter multiple tags, I need to enter one, click add, click on the "tag" field, enter one, click add, etc. It's a lot of extra steps. Is this how it's supposed to work? It seems to me that it would make sense for the "add" button to add the new tag, but not close the tag window. Or for there to be a little "+" counterpart to the "-".

I'm posting here in case I'm just not doing it right.

Hitting "Add" doesn't close the tag entry field for me—it saves the currently entered tag and opens a new text entry field... Hitting Enter to save the tag does close it when the tag selector is open, but that's a known bug, the workaround for which is to close the tag selector.
