Upgrade StorageCan anyone please help? Accepting/transferring group ownership.
I am having trouble accepting/transferring ownership of several groups from one account to another.
I have tried the process many times - after 10GB of storage was purchased for "transferee" account - with zero success. I have tried different libraries of different sizes etc.
This is what happens after initiating the transfer from the group members page which sends a message to the transferee to accept:
(1) Click the link in the Zotero message in the transferee's inbox to accept the account, e.g.: "To accept ownership of this group, visit http://www.zotero.org/groups/XX/acceptownership " [XX = group name]
(2) This takes you to the group's settings page (group tab). No indications or buttons to "accept ownership" or anything - it looks like the normal settings page. Pressing "save settings" gives you a blank page. Nothing happens.
(3) Looking at the group members page again shows NOTHING has changed. The original owner remains. The transferee's status is the same (e.g. "Admin" not "owner"). Checking the transferee's storage shows no change.
(4) If you try the process again from (2) you get the following message:
"Error
Server Error
Something went wrong processing your request."
Instead of clicking through the link in the inbox message (1) I've also tried to click the "accept" link that appears in the group's main page (it is in fact the same URL) - you get the same result as above.
Please help! The $100 of storage is pretty useless if you can't store/transfer stuff to it.
