Accept transfer of ownership

Hi,
I just tried to accept a transfer of ownership request and got the following response:

Error
Server Error

Something went wrong processing your request.
  • I am also having troubles accepting/transferring ownership. I have tried the transfer 7 times after 10GB of storage was purchased for "transferee" account - with no success. I have tried different libraries of different sizes - with no success.

    (1) When you click the link in the Zotero message in the transferee's inbox to accept the account, e.g.: "To accept ownership of this group, visit http://www.zotero.org/groups/XX/acceptownership " [XX = group name]

    (2) This takes you to the group's settings page (group tab). No indications or buttons to "accept ownership" or anything - it's just the normal settings page. Pressing "save settings" gives you a blank page. Nothing happens.

    (3) Looking at the group members page again shows NOTHING has changed. The original owner remains. The transferee's status is the same (e.g. "Admin" not "owner"). Checking the transferee's storage shows no change.

    (4) If you try the process again from (2) you get the following message:
    "Error
    Server Error
    Something went wrong processing your request."

    Please help! The $100 of storage is pretty useless if you can't transfer stuff to it.
  • Same problem now in 2012. Two have us tried, using different browsers and computers, but get same problem as tomchanglobal. This is very frustrating because I have now left the company and do not want to have the power as owner to delete the Group.

    Your issue was caused by a bug introduced in recent site updates. It should be fixed if you try again now.
