format change to paragraph after citation added

Not dissimilar to this, but different enough, I think.

Problem:
After inserting a citation into a paragraph, TNR font, double spaced, the para collapses to single spaced. Crtl+Z undoes the format change and the inserted citation remains intact.

Same behaviour on refresh command in paragraph with the latest insertion of a citation while the rest of the document doesn't change, but only once. Move the cursor out to another para, or simply repeat, and nothing changes.

System:
Linux Mint 10, LibreOffice 3.3.2, Zotero 2.1.8, word proc plugin 3.5a2.
Using Springer AuthorDate style in a .doc (XP) document format ("SaveAs"'d from a .docx document, originally), zotero plugin preferences for document has citation type set to "bookmark".

Any ideas?
  • Change the default style.
  • This problem persists - loss of double spacings in the citation-receiving paragraph - even after changing the style for the document (and some software changes, and even a new document).

Using "bookmarks" for citations here because of comparability with co-authors' systems.

nb - if changing the style for the document is different than changing the default style, I need some guidance as to what you're talking about. Thanks, however.

    Current software details:

    Linux Mint 11

    Libre Office 3.3.2,
    OOO330m19 (Build:202), tag libreoffice-3.3.2.2, Ubuntu package
    1:3.3.2-1ubuntu5

    Firefox 5.0

    Zotero 2.1.8
  • Simon refers to the default style in Ooo, not the Zotero style:

  • That's terrific - thankyou.
