AGU conference paper citation

I am trying to cite several conference papers using the AGU style, but they do not comply with the AGU standards. The papers are really extended abstracts, and were not published in formal proceedings, so they are cited as stand-alone items. I have tried to switch categories to things like presentations, but that does not fix the problem either. The proper AGU format for conference papers is author, title of paper presented, name of meeting (preceded by “paper presented at”), meeting sponsor, and location of meeting. For instance, I want my citation to look like this:

Bibring, J. P., et al. (2007), Mars climatic and geological history, derived from the OMEGA/MEx Data, presented at the 7th International Conference on Mars, Lunar and Planetary Institute, Pasadena, CA.

but it looks like this

Bibring, J. P., Y. Langevin, F. Poulet, B. Gondet, N. Mangold, J. Mustard, R. Arvidson, V. Chevrier, and C. Sotin (2007), Mars Climatic and Geological History, Derived from the OMEGA/MEx Data, [online] Available from: http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2007LPICo1353.3234B (Accessed 30 March 2010)

I am having issues not only with the "paper presented at" part, but also the unneeded web link and improper capitalization. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have looked through the forums and not found any advice. Thanks.
  • no one has coded conference papers (you'd want to use presentation as an item type for this for this one) for AGU - I can look into doing that, but it'll take some time.
  • Thanks for the advice. I will use the presentation setting and adjust manually for now. Luckily I don't have too many of these type.
