Group Library problems

Hi, I'm trying to gain access to my colleague's group library, but when I access it, there are no items in the library. I can log in with her password/username, access her general library, and see the citations listed in the order she added them; but I need to be able to sort those citations by author's name, and I can't figure out how to do that through the web-based application. How can I: 1) sort those entries by author; OR 2) download her citations to my computer so I can sort them using my account "box" at the bottom?

Thank you!

Sorting and other fancy things cannot be done in the web-based interface unfortunately, which from the start has been woefully inadequate (despite continuing rumors that improvements are coming).

If you (1) have a Zotero account, (2) are a member of the group library with that account, and (3) have put your account name in Zotero's sync settings, everything in the group library should be automatically downloaded to your computer upon syncing.
  • mark - those aren't rumours -
you can check out commits to Zotero on trac here:

anything that has Faolan's nick - fcheslack - is website related. For about two month now there's been a lot of that.
  • Ah, I know that something's brewing now (at last). It's just that I sometimes have difficulty concealing my mild frustration at the semantic latitude of terms like "near future", "soon", "month", and even "year" in the postings of the developers over the years. If you see signs of that, just ignore.
