Mendeley will be including embedded citation data in word/Ooo documents in the next release

I think it would be a great move towards more openness and better co-operation if Zotero could adopt this asap. This would not just facilitate working with Mendeley authors, but even make it easier to work with other Zotero users without going through groups as much.
