Upgrade StorageZotero not able to insert citation

Can anybody help with the following please?
Zotero was working fine last night and then this morning cannot insert a citation.
Report ID: 1377026421 (from Fresh Firefox and OpenOffice sessions)
On Linux with OpenOffice Writer 3.2 and Firefox 4.0.
When inserting a citation, in a new document it will ask for the style, put the footnote and then fail to open the Zotero dialog to choose the citation. Instead, it shows some sort of Javascript error dialog.
"An error occurred communicating with Zotero:
java.Lang.NullPointerException
at
org.zotero.integration.ooo.comp.Comm.GetMessageResponse(com.java:190
at"
and many more of such lines
On an existing doc with about 200 citations already, it fails to link with Zotero whether inserting a new citation or editing an existing.
I'd appreciate any pointers to help me finish this PhD!
