space shortage

I am using up my 100 MB limit with only 219 citations...can that be? This seems like quite a few citations for 100 MB - nearly a half a meg per citation?

    It depends on the size of files attached to your items. If you have no file attached you can sync as many items as you want and never use any storage.

    Thanks strange...to my knowledge I have no file attachments, only citations.

    If you don't care about syncing the attachments (which I'd guess come from automatic imports from journal databases) you can just turn off file syncing in the sync tab of Zotero preferences.
