Using Zotero and Scrapbook side-by-side...
Currently I'm using Scrapbook as my capture / edit tool and Zotero as my bibliographic reference / tags catalog. Is anyone else doing this?
Does anyone foresee problems going about it this way?
Really the only thing that worries me is that it's mapping the files through a removable media drive to drive-letter K. Which of course means any time I bring the thumbdrive to another computer the drive letter changes. There doesn't appear to be any easy way to edit entries - so I'm often reassigning the drive letter to K to make Scrapbook work.
Would it be possible to implement a variable for the drive letter? This way I can remap the "variable drive letter" in Zotero rather than having to force the computer to recognize the thumb-drive as drive letter K.
Otherwise this approach is quite nice, it gives me all the capture / edit / search features of Scrapbook and all the database functionality provided by Zotero.
Regards,
Dustin
