Style Request: [Developmental Dynamics]

  • great. just change the settings under preferences. its not saved as regular text. and i am able to install it into zotero. will get it up onto gisthub shortly.
  • Developmental Dynamics style:

    validated.
  • congratulations - I'll let you know when it's up - I'm still trying to think how exactly to deal with this and the Biotechnology style - usually we just put one up as a link to the other (that's what dependent style means) but here they seem to be the same more by coincidence than on purpose and if we ever get around to implementing abbreviation lists they wouldn't be the same anymore. So not quite sure yet, but will let you know.

  • great. yes I just tried in a fresh Word Mac:2008 with the zotero plug-in. looks good.

like i said before i didn't make any changes to the how books/book chapters would be referenced. but when i searched the file for other instances of bold or italics i didn't find any so i think it will be good to go. i don't have any books/chapters loaded up in my library so i can't test it.

i think next step should be a push for a standardized citation/reference style.

thanks for all of your help.
  • The style is not in the Repository, and it appears to have changed. The journal is published by a society but now with Wiley. So, I'll make a new request.

TL;DR: The Developmental Dynamics style is using the American Medical Association style (no edition indicated), with only two modifications I could see based on their instructions. Include DOI in http form, and include Publisher-Place for books. I believe these modifications to the existing AMA style might suffice.

    Here is the full request.

(There is bold font for volume in the html, but not in the PDF or the style instructions, so please ignore that.)

    Thank you!
  • (Sadly, they refer to Endnote for referencing, but I am glad to contact the editor to include a mention of CSL/Zotero, when we have it in the repository.)
  • I figured out how to modify the current AMA style to fit it to Dev Dyn. I will submit the style on the github repo. Sorry for the noise.
