Landes Biosciences site translators broken/unavailable

I am interested in a site translator for the journal Autophagy, from Landes Biosciences. It appears to not exist, or at least I don't see the little icon in the address bar when I access any of their articles.
Strangely, other journals from Landes Biosciences (e.g. Cell Cycle) do display the icon ("Save to Zotero (DOI)), however, it gives a "could not save item" error when I try to use it.
I would appreciate any help with this!

DOI is a generic translator that picks up a DOI displayed on the page - sometimes those break if either what Zotero thinks is a DOI isn't actually one or, more frequently, if the DOI isn't registered in the CrossRef database.
As for translators, at this point, almost all new translators are either coded by (self-)interested users or by the database provider (often when they're contacted by users).

Thanks, that's helpful to know. I happen to work for the editor to Autophagy, so maybe I can get him to convince the journal to write a translator.

If you look at the first of the two links - it's often easier for a journal to display data via unAPI or so than to write and maintain a translator - but up to them.
If they want a translator, don't have anyone to code it and they have a little money, it would probably be possible to pay one of the regular translator contributors to write one. Ajlyon, who does most of this, is a graduate student, so he's probably not prohibitively expensive ;-).

Not that anyone should feel like they have to hire me, but I can confirm that I'm not prohibitively expensive, if it comes down to that.

The first option of exposing nice embedded metadata is the best option, since it will provide support for Mendeley as well, and perhaps for other software in the future.
