Hi,

I have a problem with the translator of this page:

I´ve tried different documents and always get the "couldnt save" message.

The site uses the DOI default translator. For some reason, the DOI they specify is not in the CrossRef DOI resolver, so Zotero can't use it.

You should be able to use the ISBNs on the item pages with Zotero's magic wand function to quickly save items.

I keep getting the "Could not save item" message for various documents on http://bookshop.europa.eu, too, e.g., http://bookshop.europa.eu/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/EU-Bookshop-Site/en_GB/-/EUR/ViewPublication-Start?PublicationKey=QC3209190, though the DOI (10.2860/58644) resolves correctly via http://www.crossref.org/05researchers/58doi_resolver.html.

Is there anything Zotero or Crossref could do about it?

those DOIs aren't actually CrossRef DOIs, i.e. while the resolver now works because CrossRef has improved it and is able to resolve DOIs from other entities, there's still no data for them at CrossRef, which is why import fails.
There are plans to support those DOIs https://github.com/zotero/translators/issues/767 as well as bookshop.europa specifically: https://github.com/zotero/translators/issues/768 but no idea how quickly that's going to happen.
