Plug in error message -- New Mozilla, 2011 Word for Mac

I've used Zotero on other computers but cannot get plug in to work on this iMac. I am using 2011 Word for Mac and using the most recent Mozilla (4.0.1). The error message says it will not work with this version of Mozilla.

Could I use Safari as the web browser instead? Do you know any work arounds?

Please advise. Thanks.

The latest version of the Mac Word plugin for Zotero 2.1 is 3.1.2 (compatible with Word 2004, 2008, and 2011 and Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or later). Firefox 4 compatibility requires 10.6 Snow Leopard, so users of 10.4 or 10.5 will need to upgrade to 10.6 or use Firefox 3.6.

I checked my OS and it says it's 10.6.7. Based on what you've said, the plug-in should work.

what exactly are you installing from where?

Actually now I have it on my Mozilla. I hadn't included the PythonExt first.

But here's something else. When I click on Zotero on the bottom right of my browser, it doesn't "know" that I already have a library.

where do you have that library? Did you have that on your computer before?
Else you need to sync.
