2.1.6.r9393 clears the entire library

After uploading 2.1.6.r9393, my library is completely empty

The Zotero icon doesn't show any more

I use Windows 7, Firefox 3.6.17

    It didn't "clear" your library. Presumably Zotero just isn't loading.

    Are you saying you can still open Zotero via the Tools menu, though?

    If so, provide a Report ID.

    After having this trouble, I desinstalled this release anf downloaded 2.1.6
    I retrieved my library and the Zotero icon

    I again uploaded the 2.1.6.r9393. I lost the Zotero icon and my library appears empty.

    To open Zotero, I can do it through Firefox tools or CTRL+ALT+Z
    The report ID is 1004150484

    Yes, it does

    I removed all the contents of the zotero folder, replaced them with the 2.1.6 backup folders and files, but it doesn't do any good.
    The library is still empty and the Zotero icon missing

    No, that's not the issue. There's an error in the error report—just need to figure out what's causing it.

    Similar experience with 2.1.6.r9403 on Mac (OS 10.6.7): Library, tags and right-hand panel won't appear when Zotero loads. (No other add-ons running). Report ID 1740009400; Debug ID is D1024501052. Hope this helps. After rolling back to 2.1.6 everything seems fine again.

    I confirm I had checked Zotero is in the right directory

    I also made a new attempt after emptying everything in Firefox and uploading 2.1.6r9403

    Same result :

    Fixed in the latest dev build. Upgrade to the latest and the problem will go away. (Clear your browser cache if you get an error downloading.)
