So hard to work with...

I am new in zotero. I was trying to apply Arabic translation, but working so hard with that. Is there any help? Browsing on the forum makes me more sick as I was unable to find the answer, but only same reports about bugs and other problems with translation. Thanks...
  • What do you find difficult?
  • translations for what exactly? I'm pretty sure that Zotero has been translated into arabic, though this may have been included after the current release, so you'll have to wait for 2.1.7, due out very soon.
  • So I have to wait then... I was trying to apply translation on google book, but unabel to find the answer. I visited this page..., still doesn't help http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/17844/google-books-and-cambridge-university-library-translator-problem/#Item_0
I think the best answer is I have to wait for new release... Thanks for your fast reply... ;)
  • Forgive me if this question is unnecessary, but what exactly do you mean by "translation on google book"? You are not by any chance referring to translation between languages (Arabic -> English / English-> Arabic)?
  • To clarify, there are two different types of "translation" for Zotero purposes.
Zotero, the program, "translates" the data on websites - such as google books - into bibliographical data. That's what the thread you link to is about. It has nothing to do with "translation" in the conventional sense, i.e. Arabic -> English / English-> Arabic as fbennett mentions.

Completely unrelatedly, the interface of Zotero - i.e. the menus etc. - has been translated to arabic. That translation doesn't change anything about the functionality (so it's unrelated to google books, for example). That's what I talked about in my first post. You will probably have to explain what you're actually trying to do.
