Libre Office in Linux Mint

I managed to install the libre office plugin no problem. Referencing using Refworks and ODT works perfectly without a glitch.
Im having a problem though referencing using bookmarks so that I can have a doc compatible file.
Inserting reference works well but when I go to insert a bibliography it becomes glicthy. For example if I insert reference 1 and insert bibliography multiple number 1 appear over the document.
Any ideas what could cause this?

    no idea, but there have been multiple reports of various issues with bookmarks and libre office so this might require some love from devs.
    I'm not sure this would work, but until this gets fixed could it be viable to have a copy of Ooo installed that you use only for converting the document to bookmarks/doc?

    It didn't seem to solve the problem, I seem to be getting a similar problem in open office. Fortunately later versions of word can open ODT files, so I will stick to ODT for the time being until a solution is worked out.
    If anybody working on the OO plugin for linux machines wants me to help troubleshoot, Im more than happy to do so.
