Need older version - university refuses to upgrade Firefox

QUESTION 1: How do I go about getting a version of Zotero that will run with Firefox version 3.5.3? (I need to obtain a version of Zotero to work with Firefox 3.5.3 as my university has said it will not upgrade to Firefox 4 until later this year, which is no good to me as I need to use Zotero NOW.)

QUESTION 2: Is it possible to share my data if I use different versions of Zotero on different PC's (ie laptop at home and PC on campus)? (I am using the current version of Zotero on my personal laptop at home with the latest release of Zotero.)

Appreciate any help you can give.

Cheers

Firefox 3.5.3 was released 1.5 yrs ago and many security releases have been fixed since. Furthermore, It is no longer supported & the end of life is being planned. Upgrading to a later firefox 3 version would have much fewer migration issues than Firefox 4, would give a supported version that Zotero works on, and would close off the threat of those bugs. If your IT department won't do this for you, I'd see if you were able to use a copy of firefox portable instead.
