Google scholar import messes bibliography ("en dash" causes p instead of pp)

On importing search results from Google scholar using the folder icon, the page numbers have what seem to be an "en dash" (unicode u+2013) between them instead of an ASCII hyphen. This causes the pages in the bibliography (IEEE style) to show up as p. 563–596 instead of pp. 563-596. Can I prevent this in any way short of manually changing all citations to have a hyphen instead of en dash?

edit: I found http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/1754/ but the 3 year old fix it mentions (https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/854) does not work for me even though I have the latest release (2.1.6).

I believe this will be fixed in the next version of Zotero, since it was just recently fixed in the citation processor that powers this bit of magic, citeproc-js. If you're interested, see https://bitbucket.org/fbennett/citeproc-js/changeset/d199bf012ba4
