I want to change 'User-added tag' into 'Automatically added tag' attribute

Let:
Automatically added tag = AAT
User-added tag = UAT

I had an automatic entry with one incorrect long AAT with semicolon inside, like this:

Artificial;Collaborative learning;Virtual and augmented reality;and virtual realities;augmented;

I can repair this manually into 5 tags using cut/copy paste. But if I do this, then the 5 new tags will become UAT.

Is there any manual repair method without modifying the tag status from AAT into UAT?

Or, is there any manual method to change a tag status from UAT into AAT?

Thanks.
  • No way to do this at present.

    Can you say what site gave you that nasty tag to begin with, so we can prevent future instances of this?
  • I automatically zoteroed the item from this:

    http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpls/abs_all.jsp?arnumber=5744068
  • I fixed this issue some time ago, but it apparently hasn't reached all users yet:

    Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/IEEE Xplore.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). It should split those tags for you.

    And hopefully the updated translator will be pushed to all clients in the near future (or at least included in Zotero 2.1.7)
  • Same question as Nurid. Sometimes, keywords are not automatically imported in Zotero. In this case I add them manually, but I consider those tags as "automatically added".

    Is it now possible to change manually the status of a tag.

    Many thanks for your answer
