InformaWorld Routledge journal import: sometimes wrong

With some Routledge journals the issn and the journal name are imported wrong when using the Zotero address bar icon. This seems to be a problem both with and without accessing InformaWorld through a proxy. Everything else including the doi imports correctly. When downloaded in RIS format the correct information comes in. Except for these records I have found no problems with InformaWorld to Zotero.

Here are several doi numbers for the journal articles that download to Zotero with wrong information.

10.1080/10645130008951139

10.1080/17486830008415785

10.1080/17486830008415784

10.1080/17486830008415783

10.1080/17486830008415786
  • For a couple of these, please note what journal name and ISSN you get through the address bar, and what you get from RIS.
  • Silly me. I thought that article listings on the publishers' websites should be the gold standard. I did some further digging and found that these articles are in journals that underwent a title change.

Zotero downloads the CORRECT information. Viewing the article on the InformaWorld site incorrectly displays the current journal name and the current journal issn. The RIS download incorrectly shows the current journal title and issn.

This seems to confirm what I have long suspected, the Zotero developers are not only skilled and dedicated programmers but are sorcerers in their spare time.
