Upgrade StorageTrouble retrieving metadata from PDFs
Hello... can I just say, Zotero is mostly awesome and it has helped me so much.
I am having some trouble with retrieving metadata from PDFs. About 50% of my PDFs are getting indexed by right-clicking and selecting "Retrieve Metadata for PDF." But the other 50% is not getting indexed and the dialog bax that comes up says "Metadata Retrieval Complete. No matching references found." Viewing the files, the "DOI" number is clearly available and I can highlight it, manually enter it via the magic wand icon in the Zotero toolbar, and Zotero is able to find the reference; however, Zotero won't do this automatically for so many of these files via the "Retrieve Metadata for PDF" link. I am able to highlight and search for text within the PDF and I am currently running Zotero 2.1.5 with pdftotext 3.02 and pdfinfo 3.02 installed.
