New Style Created for Environmental and Engineering Geoscience

The journal Environmental and Engineering Geoscience follows a citation format very similar to Geological Society of America journals, but has the journal names' italicized. See http://eeg.allentrack.net/cgi-bin/main.plex?form_type=display_auth_instructions&j_id

I made this change and created a new style for EEG, which is here. This is my first time, so I hope I did it right.

  • Looks great - if you could change two tiny things I can upload it as is:
the last part of the link (where you currently have /eeg) should be the same as for the id (i.e /environmental-and-engineering-geoscience)
Delete the (dev) behind the title - the Zotero repository will insert it automatically.
    Thanks!
  • Ok I changed the two things, and the file is still here: https://gist.github.com/942434
    Thanks
  • ok thanks, it's committed, will show up on the repository soon.
  • I realized that there was a mistake with the style I created for EEG. I missed that if there are more than 2 authors, their names are separated by semi-colons, not commas as they currently are. I have been able to switch most of the necessary commas to semi-colons, but the final comma (before the 'and') is giving me trouble. Where can I find this comma in the CSL file and change it? This is a citation looks now:

    Birkle, P.; Rodríguez, V.T., and Partida, E.G., 1998, etc.

Where I want it to look like this: (note semi-colon before the 'and')

    Birkle, P.; Rodríguez, V.T.; and Partida, E.G., 1998

What do I change? Thank you!
  • you've found a bug. I've reported it here:
    http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/19564/cslprocessor-bug-semicolon-and-final-delimiter/
I'd expect this to be fixed in the next version of Zotero
