how to join an open group and add contents to Group Libraries?

Sorry if this is explained elsewhere, but I could not find it in Zotero's documentation.

Years ago I joined a public, closed group (LCRM), and its contents appear in my "Group Libraries" section of my Zotero.

Now I have created a new public, open group, which has two links:
https://www.zotero.org/groups/writinghistorydigitalage
and
https://www.zotero.org/groups/writinghistorydigitalage/items

I see how these two links allow visitors to browse the library contents on the website and subscribe to a RSS feed.

But how do visitors "join" this open group, and/or view the contents in their Zotero "Group Libraries" (like my LCRM group mentioned above), where they can drag items into their personal library? Is there a way for them to do this without me inviting them? I don't see a "join" button or "add to my Group Libraries" button anywhere. Am I overlooking or misunderstanding something?

I don't see a "join" button or "add to my Group Libraries" button anywhere.
Because you're already in the group. Other logged-in users will see a "Join Group" link.
