error ID 765412636 Zotero 2.1.6, Firefox 4.0 macword integration problem

I obtain the same message as a lot of users :
"Installation could not be completed because an error occurred. Please ensure that Microsoft Word is closed, and then restart Firefox"

Macword (Office 2011) is not running at all.

My Macword version is not up to date, but the problem is I have not been able to update (online or offline) from day one.

    In what way have you been unable to update? Have you tried removing the Zotero MacWord Integration extension in Tools->Add-ons->Extensions and then reinstalling it?

    It is word that is not able to update for reasons unknown by microsoft. Just in case Zotero only recognize the most up to date version of Word, it means that mine is prehistoric.

    Removed the macword integration from Firefox 4.0 and reinstalled the xpi from Zotero's website. Installation goes smooth, restart firefox then the same error message. Here is the ID
