problem with proxy access

when I tried to access an internal work site, zotero prompted me to save a proxy path and I did (probably a mistake). That prevented me from accessing the site with Firefox (it's fine with Explorer) and I can still not get to it even after clearing all proxies from my Preferences. My Debug ID is D1729365932. Thanks for help!

    When you say clearing all proxies from your Preferences, you mean your Zotero preferences right? Because zotero has the ability to do proxy redirection also, it's under Zotero->Preferences->Proxies. This is completely separate to Firefox proxies. From your post it sounds like you accepted using zotero proxy redirection (usually quite a useful feature which allows you to use your institutional access to journals seamlessly).

    oops - Yes! Clearing the proxies in Zotero preferences-- that's what I meant. I had accepted using Zotero's proxy redirection but then couldn't access the site.

    Hmm, then I'm afraid I can't help you. I've had almost the opposite experience recently (http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/17523/problem-with-proxy-redirection/) where since an upgrade zotero no longer uses my proxy redirection. I mention it here in case an admin suspects a link between the two problems.
