compile error in hidden module

Hi,
I am running Firefox 3.6, OSX 10.5.8, Word 2004, Zotero 2.1.5, MacWord Integration 3.1.2, PythonExt 2.6.2. I have tried all the troubleshooting solutions suggested in the FAQ and forums--Word permissions, deleting and reinstalling Python and MacWord Integration, but I am still getting the "compile error in hidden module" every time I try to insert a reference. The error script below is from Zotero.

    Try opening your home directory, navigating to Library/Preferences/Microsoft, and deleting the file named Office Registration Cache 11.
