Can't use Zotero since downloading 2.0

Either the document freezes or I get an error message. I read in a column that using Firefox 4.0 would help, but it did not make any difference.

ok, for example:

I am working on a document that used the previous version of zotero. I want to add a citation and it tells me I need update the whole document.

I am now wanting to add a new citation from my database and it says "error updating your document" - sometimes it also freezes my Word document. HELP. I am about to finish a large writing project (300 pages).... can't proceed without fixing this

See the page I linked to. You need to provide a Report ID for the error.

After Zotero tells me my document has to be ugraded, if I try to add a citation this is what I get:

There is no report ID

what Zotero tells me is
"Zotero experienced an error updating your document

this.registry.registry[item.id] is undefined

Again, you need to read the page I linked to. It explains exactly how to provide a Report ID.

That error message may be sufficient for someone to debug this, but an error report provides more information.

ok, I have reported the bug.

If I start a totally new document it works just fine.

If I work on a document that existed before the recent upgrade it freezes at the point that I choose the citation.

and gives this error message again:

"Zotero experienced an error updating your document

this.registry.registry[item.id] is undefined"
