Remove Field Codes -- Rips Italics Out of Notes

Is the elimination of italics from footnotes a standard feature of the operation "remove field codes"? That's what's happening to me. Bib stays okay. Ooo 3.3, Zot 2.1. CMS. Thx, Mark

Not a standard feature, no. If this is happening, it's a bug.

I remember seeing this before on Ooo, stilll on 2.0.9 so this is likely not a new bug. As a workaround, I just saved the file as a .doc, which also removes field codes ;-). No time to test and replicate right now, though.

Thanks for the tip Adam. I will try that. My doc is not complex, so I will probably lose nothing of importance as far as formatting goes. Thx, Mark
