Accents with ACM Digital Library Import

I noticed that accents aren't being imported correctly from the ACM Digital library. For example:
http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=1240826&coll=GUIDE&dl=GUIDE&CFID=7798801&CFTOKEN=78101923

"François Guimbretiére"

imports as

"Fran\&\#231;ois Guimbreti\&\#233;re"
