Regression: CSL in Word no longer handles interpunction of suffix nicely

Part two in my series of problems after updating (part one here). CSL in Word no longer handles interpunction of suffixes in cites nicely.

It used to be that interpunction in the suffix field was handled so as to not generate any extra spaces. For instance if I have ", among others" in the suffix field, it used to produce "(Adelaar 2004, among others)". Now it produces "(Adelaar 2004 , among others)" (note the space after the year).

This seems a regression to me. I have confirmed the problem in CMoS, Harvard and MLA. It messes a large document that I upgraded. Now I wish I could go back, but I have made other edits. So I really hope this can be fixed soon.
  • that's a known issue and will be fixed in the next release - can't find the thread but it affects all extra spaces that the new plugin inserts.

Yep. This will be fixed in the next release of Zotero 2.1. It was awhile back (in thread-time); the link is here.
  • Thanks guys, sorry for the double post.
