Upgrade StorageErrorID 249468270, Zotero + Libreoffice; when trying to insert a reference, nothing happens

Recently I replaced Openoffice with Libreoffice. After the replacement I cannot get Zotero to work. When I try to insert a reference, nothing happens.
I use Ubuntu Maverick 64 bit, Firefox 4, Libreoffice 3.3.2.
I tried to change the libreoffice directory as discussed in thread http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/14716/libreoffice-plugin/ ,but when I choose a different directory than the default /usr/bin/unopkg, I get the response that the executable cannot be found, even though unopkg is found by using the ' locate' command in the terminal or by browsing with the filemanager.
I have tried to change the Java plugin in Firefox from Icedtea to the Sun plugin, but that doesn't work either.
Hopehully you van help me getting my Zotero back to work again.

The directories I've tried are:
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/
/usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/
/usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program
/opt/ , but in my system the /opt directory is empty
